Hi, I'm Taylor Ryan! I created Nexus Counseling Clinic to help those dealing with mental health symptoms during transitional periods of their life. My goal is to provide psychoeducation, so you can better understand yourself and the issues you may be facing. These services can be beneficial if you're deciding whether this transition is the next step for you, navigating changes after a difficult transition, or an individual who wants to explore their own generational trends and healthy boundary setting.
Nexus Counseling Clinic is a mental health provider that values and supports diversity. I aim to provide inclusive care in a safe, nonjudgemental environment. All recommended resources will be inclusive and welcoming to all. It is not enough to just not be discriminatory, we must make an effort to continue self-reflection and education to provide the best care for every individual.
What are out-of-network benefits? Here's a breakdown:
✨ If your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, it means they will cover a portion of the cost when yo see a therapist who doesn't have a direct contract with your insurance company.
✨ Unlike in-network providers, who bill your insurance company directly, with out-of-network therapists, you typically pay for the session upfront and then submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement.
✨ Insurance companies often reimburse a percentage of the therapist's fee, usually after you meet an out-of-network deductible. For example, after you meet a $1,000 deductible, your insurance may reimburse 50-80% of the session cost.
✨ Out-of-network benefits give you the flexibility to choose a therapist based on your needs and preferences, not just those in-network.
