Nexus Counseling Clinic is a mental health provider, led by LCSW professionals, that values and supports diversity. We aim to provide inclusive care in a safe, nonjudgmental environment, particularly for the LGBT community. All recommended resources will be inclusive and welcoming to everyone. It is not enough to simply avoid discrimination; we must engage in self-reflection and continuous education to offer the best therapy for every individual, including parents navigating their unique challenges.

Hi, I'm Taylor Ryan, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW)! I created Nexus Counseling Clinic to support individuals dealing with mental health symptoms during transitional periods in their lives. Our mission is to provide psychoeducation, helping you understand yourself better and the challenges you may be facing. These therapy services can be especially beneficial if you're deciding whether this transition is the next step for you, navigating changes after a difficult transition, or exploring parenting dynamics and generational trends, especially within the LGBT community, while learning to set healthy boundaries.
While this is a private pay only practice, we have partnered with Mentaya to help patients receive out of network (OON) benefits. Through mentaya, payments and services will be submitted to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We also provide superbills as requested to submit to insurance on your own.
What are out-of-network benefits? Here's a breakdown:

✨ Unlike in-network providers, who bill your insurance company directly, with out-of-network therapists, you typically pay for the session upfront and then submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement. This can be particularly beneficial for those seeking mental health support, including specialized services for LGBTQ+ individuals or parenting therapy.
✨ Insurance companies often reimburse a percentage of the therapist's fee, usually after you meet an out-of-network deductible. For example, after you meet a $1,000 deductible, your insurance may reimburse 50-80% of the session cost.
✨ Out-of-network benefits give you the flexibility to choose a therapist based on your needs and preferences, not just those in-network, allowing you to find the right support for your mental health journey.
