Nexus Counseling Clinic is a mental health provider, led by LCSW professionals, that values and supports diversity. We aim to provide inclusive care in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. All recommended resources will be inclusive and welcoming to everyone. It is not enough to simply avoid discrimination; we must engage in self-reflection and continuous education to offer the best therapy for every individual, including parents navigating their unique challenges.

We understand the importance of the person-in-environment approach. We understand your presenting mental health concerns may be secondary to a recent life transition, or they may be impeding your ability to navigate a recent life transition. We prioritize incorporating important aspects of your life into treatment in a holistic approach.

Our team is made up of licensed clinical social workers, who specialize in substance use disorders, paternal mental health, perinatal mental health disorders, and LGBQIA+ issues. Having backgrounds in other social work fields (geriatric care, child welfare, and school-based social work) helps support clients in ways beyond therapy modalities.
